Does seeing red make you feel blue?

The colors you see make a big impact on your mood and your performance.

One study found that people who use computer screens with blue backgrounds scored higher on tests of creativity and imagination.

People who use screens with red backgrounds tested better on tasks like remembering a list of words.

Another study found that if people see the color red before taking a test, their performance will suffer because red is associated with mistakes and stop signs.

On the other hand red makes women seem more attractive to men. In several experiments men rated woman more attractive when their pictures were viewed in a red frame or in a red shirt compared to photos of the same woman in a frame or shirt of a different color.
